We recently tried to run some tests and what-if scenarios through cobra and then dumped them into wInsight - probably learned that this may not have been a great idea.  The data started to double etc. - being somewhat new to wInsight in general I called our consultants to help get rid of the data.

Apparently there is no easy way to delete data that you may have imported into wInsight?

We had to delete all the contracts out of the data input-contracts field and then delete all of the data out of the data input - contractors field so we were left with a blank wInsight Administrator.

When coming back to work the next day - the previously blank wInsight now had the correct contract and contractor data along with all the status months.  The only thing missing was the actual data for each month - this was still all 0.

We attempted to restore the last .wsa version of wInsight (which I believe should put data in each month? or do we have to import each month's data again?) - however, the restoration log contained the message - restoration failed, unexpected error - no specific error was given.  Has anyone encountered this situation before or have any ideas as to why it happened or how to fix it?

Also - we are finding that when we export from Cobra - since we just did our EAC updates - the data in Cobra is not matching the output/data in wInsight.  We had to manually go in and fix it - again anyone know how to resolve this or why it is happening?  We are working with our consultants but they appear to be stumped as well.

Thanks & Regards,
Lindsay
